Prospecting With Permission
This week at Get Live Training, Don talked about ‘To Be there, you need to BE there’. It was all about living in the now as now is all there is. Janet then went on to discuss a very simple strategy to get people on Facebook to ask you to send them information about your business. It’s called Permission Based marketing and is the kind of marketing we’ve always taught online. With this strategy, you can contact people from your own City or any City in the World. Imagine sponsoring new distributors into your business, without home parties or coffee meetings.
From your personal wall, click on your friends links, where all your friends will be listed. Now look up to the top right where you will see Find Friends. When you click this, it brings up a menu selection on the left where you can choose where you want to locate friends. In the example, I choose cities near Calgary and adapt my generic script to fit the situation. When you find someone you want to contact, you right click their name to open their wall in a new window, this way you do not lose the page with all the potential friends. From their wall, do a bit of a profile check and see what they do, what they are into, hobbies, business, common friends and adopt this information into the script. You’ll see in the video how I adapt the script for a few different situation.
